About the National First Tee Program!

The First Tee of Philadelphia

The warm friendly atmosphere of our clubhouse sets our program apart from most other youth facilities. The six member professional staff are expert teachers with decades of experience working with youth. They care about our participants and want to see them grow in the game and as people. Our brand new 4,000 sq. ft. clubhouse is a wonderful place to learn. The facility also houses our office, 1,000 sq. ft. putting/chipping green, two hitting areas (Pine Valley and Augusta National), a 10 station computer lab which is great for those golf game competitions against Tiger, a club repair station and club storage area. Outside we have a 2,200 sq. ft. synthetic putting green, a 12 station synthetic tee driving range, a live 1,800 sq. ft. chipping green with three practice bunkers, and a 3,000 sq. ft. live putting green.

The FDR golf course pro shop is located next to our clubhouse. The FDR staff and members have been very supportive of our program. The 5,800-yard golf course is fantastic for beginners and accomplished players as well. The flat terrain of the course is marked with hazards of all designs to challenge our youth. The wild flowers, trees and water make for an aesthetically pleasing time for everyone. We are lucky to have such a great place to teach and play.
