Impact’s regional van service laces together VA Medical Centers in Pennsylvania, New Jersey, New York, Delaware, Maryland, or West Virginia and represents an innovative collaboration between the VA Healthcare System and Impact Services.

Philadelphia area homeless veterans needing specialized services can end up being treated at VA facilities located 40 to 200 miles from Philadelphia.  Impact coordinates with the Medical Centers to retrieve Philadelphia area veterans who have completed their treatment and are ready to return home. Very often, Impact’s Supportive Housing programs offer an effective, post-treatment environment for the veterans continued recovery.

Impact’s regional outreach service is a unique example of combining VA and community resources to provide enhanced care for veterans. In a typical year, the van travels 30,000 miles to serve veterans' in need.
