We provide both housing and employment services to veterans.
We offer both transitional and permanent housing for veterans. We currently have two large facilities that offer housing to about 200 men and women, and we are opening up several scattered sites options for vets who are transitioning to more independence. In 2016, we opened a new building that houses 50 veterans and their families!
We use the “housing first” model, which recognizes the importance of safe and stable shelter for anyone who is experiencing homelessness. Veteran housing at Impact is not contingent on factors such as mandated therapy or services compliance. Instead, our case managers work with the VA to offer a range of voluntary services to our residents.
